Thrift Store Shopping Challenge

I will be starting my thrift store challenge Wednesday. 

My Thrift Store Challenge

The challenge is to find full outfits in one thrift store location for myself. I think I will try the new Goodwill Store in my area.

Hopefully it will be a thrift store haul and not just a few pieces.  I will post what I find and hopefully inspire you to start thrift store shopping if you haven't started already.

$10 Dollar Mall: Pajama Sets

The best kept hidden secret is the $10 Dollar mall.  I really needed pajamas. I was the one sleeping in a big t shirt and jogging pants. Yes I am gulity of that. When I was thinking of ways to expand my wardrobe well pajamas came to my mind. Pajamas are apart of your sleeping wardrobe too.

 

 

So here I was on google seaching for low cost pajamas and the only adult pajamas that I was finding was at least $20.00 for a set or more. Well I refuse to pay that much for something to sleep in so I ran across $10 Dollar Mall website.

 

 

I was able to find 3 whole sets of pajamas for $10.00 each. They are colorful and they are cute. I will be rocking these on my way to bed.

Guess what???? I also found my daughter 2 pair of pajama sets as well for $10.00 each. She loves them and they also had her favorite animated characters on them.

 

 



15 Dollar Store: Ruffled Animal Print Chiffon Blouse $15.00

Yesterday I did a blog post about the 15 Dollar Store and all the items that they have available for just $15.00. So today I just wanted to bascially do an update. As I told you I am a customer of 15 Dollar Store so here is one of the blouses that I have purchased from them. I ordered the blouse a while ago but Its one of my favorite pieces in my closet.I wore it with a black skirt that I already had in my closet.

 

Ruffled Animal Print Chiffon Blouse

 

 

 

 

I fell in love with the print but I was not so sure about the ruffles. My grandma still had me in ruffle dresses up until I was 14 (don't tell anybody)lol!! So when I seen it had ruffles on it I almost didn't buy it but I needed some blouses and I liked the print so I bought it. I absolutely love the blouse now.

EVERYTHING IS $15.00!!

I spent a lot of time online. I  knew I needed more clothes so I started searching for online sites that have really cheap clothing. A ton of search results came up but one caught my eye. The 15 Dollar Store.

The name of the website alone will catch anybody attention. Now of course in my own mind I was saying to myself there is no way everything on this site is $15.00. I mean really $15.00 is just too cheap.

So I click on the site, I search through the whole site and guess what EVERYTHING IS $15.00!!!

This is what my fashion blog is all about; finding affordable items to add to our closet without breaking the bank. Now I know I have to be realistic and say that everything that you find that you may like is not going to be cheap. Trust me I understand.

Fashion is all about options. You can shop where you want and when you want to and buy what ever it is that you want and sometimes you don't care about the price. In my case "I do". Why not buy it for less if you can get it for less.
